Our team mentor Tim has earned 3rd degree black belt in taekwondo. We celebrated his achievement as a team. Congratulations!!!
Our team members cooked and sold Doner Kebab at Turkish Cultural Center. Thanks to all team members and volunteers who put their work.
All team members completed all duties and requirements for Congressional Award Bronze Certificate. They submitted their applications to The Congressional Award.

Our team went to AZSciTechFest today in AZ Science Center. They shared their experience about FTC with visitors, and they inform visitors about FIRST. We are so glad to have a chance to share our experience and knowledge with our community.
SSA Golden Eagles Parents celebrated last big achievement of our FTC team with our sister-school's FTC team (Panthers) parents at Turkish Cultural Center. We had a chance to enjoy delicious Turkish food. Thank you to all parents for supporting us.
Sonoran Golden Eagles, FTC Team 7369 were in Flagstaff last weekend for FTC AZ State Championship Tournament.
We finished qualification tournament in top three. For the quarter-finals, Alliances were picked! We became alliance partners with Paragon Science Academy and made through finals and brought home Four-State Winning Alliance Trophy!(Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Mexico)! Yes, we played finals and won! The Winning Alliance award is presented to the Golden Eagles that win the robot competition, and is the 2nd award that guarantees a place at the West Super Regional Championship which will take place on March 20-22, 2014 at the Lion's Gate Conference Center in McClellan, California. During this three day event, Golden Eagles will compete against 71 other champion teams representing 12 US States. Thank you to the students, parents and SSA Staff for their gracious professionalism!!! Go Eagles!!! |
